I am so excited, because Sulu Series, one of the longest running Asian American showcases in the country, is happening this Sunday, and I get to do the honors of hosting the evening. The lineup was curated by my pal Adriel, and from the looks of it, it should be pretty darn brilliant.
Maya Hatch, a jazz songstress whose songs I’m completely addicted to, will be performing, along with other clean acts such as The Kitchen Cabinet, my homegirl, poet Sahra Nguyen, singer Cynthia Lin, and comedian Sheng Wang. We’ll also be using the event to raise money to donate to Haiti, so please come by and support!
