I’ve held it in for far too long.
After months of conceptualizing, exploring my vision, and some planning, my channel, MYX TV, has approved a trial television pilot for The GlamourBaby Trails…yes, yes, my very own blog is becoming my very own television show, at least for one pilot episode! And the best part is….dun dun dun….

I’m filming at NYC’s Fashion Week at Bryant Park, my dream come true! I’ve always dreamed of attending fashion week. Now I’m getting an opportunity to go in as press, and create an entire show (created, produced & hosted by yours truly), at one of the most exciting events in fashion. I am developing the show with the talented Nyjia Jones, whose resume includes Sundance, MTV, and PBS. Watch out for the episode launch, with film screenings to be planned in NYC and the West Coast.

This year is particularly exciting, because Vogue Editor Anna Wintour is kicking off the celebration by teaming up with the City of New York for “Fashion’s Night Out: A Global Celebration”, an effort to revitalize the fashion economy by teaming up with stores all over NYC (and around the world) by throwing parties and events to celebrate fashion.
From the site:
The first evening of New York Fashion Week, Fashion’s Night Out will encompass festivities galore— from inventive window displays to model and celebrity appearances. Champagne may flow; hors d’oeuvres may be passed. Rumors of musical performances, downtown barbecues, shoe capsules, limited-edition rings, and sweepstakes abound. Apparently there will be makeovers, brow bars, and haircut stations at sundry spots, too.
Check out a list of the top 10 most anticipated events here.
Personally, I will be hitting up events at the Aveda Academy, Chanel, and BAPE, perhaps.
See you at Fashion Week!
